Typographics 2024

This project aimed to redesign the identity of the 2024 Typographics Festival in NYC. The concept behind the design is that type is ever-changing and unique. The perspectives on how we approach type and how we perceive type are all different. The use of ambigrams, variable fonts, and classic Futura fonts aims to create a visual experience made predominantly from typographic shapes.

The identity we created held our vibrant colour scheme and our custom ambigram at its core. The ambigram was created as a logo mark, and the absence of ligatures meant it could be dissected and turned into a unique background graphic.
